Ok,some idiots are saying that the majority of digital artists ARE ART THIEVES.I've copied a journal of mine and pasted it,one of our members is in trouble because of this idiots who are trying to report him and are trying to convince everyone he's an art thieve.

:iconcloudremix809: has been accused from art theft, they say doing renders is stealing others' work.I'll explain you a couple of things...first of all (for the ones who don't know) a render is an image without background,it's used in signatures, wallpapers, some stamps and avatars. For making this you have to get an image and go eliminating the bg,he's accused of stealing those images.Getting them without permission. He didn't get them without permission,he did ask if he could do it BUT not from the real owner,he found the pictures in blogs posted by people saying it was theirs and in google you could see that image not from DA,but from other places also.He gets all the images in blogs where he's registered and then he does the render.Problem with that people? Also people who use all this stuff be aware they're going after you and me .____. lot's of people in DA use renders so I don't think they'll go one by one,it would take forever but who knows...Some people don't believe it and there are some trolls who will report even if he's apologizing to the real owners and telling them everything. One reason why digital artists who do this stuff don't ask the owner is cause finding the REAL owner for some stuff is mission impossible, there are too many copies of it in the internet and everyone tells you: you can use it if you want as long as you say it isn't yours!Who's the real one?I get lots of the resources from people who tell me this, the problem would be if the one who did this didn't allow that person to do it,the thing is that they say they did ask him.Sometimes they lie and sometimes they don't and there are even sometimes that the owner of the brushes/stocks/renders or whatever says you can get them and after you do it and post it they come bitching around saying that you've stole his art! Many people do renders, signatures, wallpapers, avatars and stamps.Nearly every signature and wallpaper uses renders or brushes or textures or patterns or stocks or c4ds,stamps can have renders and stocks and lots of them do,if it has a person or something it's probably a render and the bg lots of times a stock. They have to have at least one of those things (in wallpapers, avatars and signatures) and few people make their own ones, cause they would need lots of programs to do them and they aren't cheep unless you hack them which I dunno if for some of them it will work or not...Also if those people knew a little about digital art, they would know that it's legal if you manipulate it a lot. It's art theft when you stick in 2 stocks and say they're yours, not if you use many different things, manipulate them, say they aren't yours and credit who you think is the owner! If they decide to report all this "art thieves" GO AHEAD AND REPORT HALF DA.You definitely have something like that in your favourites, something which has: render,brushes,textures,c4ds,patterns or stocks.Even people who colour linearts also do it,for better effect lots use brushes and put them in soft light so it blends with the picture (like this they do shadows),though it's very difficult to do so (you have to DOWNLOAD THE RIGHT TYPE OF BRUSH) and not only people who draw linearts, also people who DRAW with the pentool in photoshop and make awesome pictures do it lots of times to do the shadow .___. the other thing is that people notice. Those guys colour with brushes which aren't from them, common go for them too. ;D
